My past experience of essential oils was Tea tree oil for spots and ‘burning oils’ over a tea light in the early 90’s.
I started using them a few years ago to support my physical and emotional well being in terms of my MS, recurrent depression and the perimenopause.
I have shared my experience and the resources available to me with my clients over the years too who have also experienced fantastic effect.
I use a lot of proprietary blends from DoTerra. What I was really interested to find out and a little horrified was that there is NO governing body that regulates essential oils, their purity or the claims made by many essential oil companies.
Before I purchased dōTERRA Essential Oils I looked into their sourcing and testing practices, their Certified Pure Therapeutic independent testing (CPTG) and trusted them because of their transparency. I can see the test results for their single oils just by entering the code and can see that the oil is free from impurities and synthetics and how much of the necessary constituent needed for effect is present.
I love science, I need science and fact. I used to be a nurse, I have an MSc and I love facts.
I absolutely believe there is a place for modern medicine.
I also believe that it is worth exploring solutions that nature offers, after all these have been used for centuries .
Its also really important o note that our bodies are designed to heal themselves with the right support
There is a time and place for modern medicine + I’m grateful for it
I also believe it is worth exploring nature’s solutions before taking a synthetic approach
Our bodies were designed to heal and will and can when given the right tools
Most people have no idea how great they should feel and my goal is to empower you to thrive instead of just survive.
