Well, your brain is protecting you from something, the habits that you cant change, that's down to your brain. A primal need to avoid pain and seek pleasure.
A misfiling of memories and emotions all jumbled up together. The evolved human part of your brain can't step in when this primal emotional setting is at play.
J knew she needed to lose weight, she knew her health was affected, she had a really good reason to change, a really good WHY. She wanted to get pregnant. But she couldn't stick to it. What if she lost all this weight and didn't get pregnant? It would be for nothing.
We looked into her 2 futures, the one where she made the changes and the one where she didn't,
Throughout our session, we uncovered that she knew it was a more wider issue, her health in general, her health as a parent, so what was preventing her? We discovered that the part of the brain that was leading her away from being told what to do, the part that kept on eating the food that she knew she needed to reduce, wanted to reduce was keeping her safe. And we uncovered why, and that part stepped back
